Focuslight Releases Conduction Cooled Mini-Bar Diode Laser Series

Focuslight has announced the release of Conduction Cooled Mini-Bar Diode Laser Series (hereafter referred to as “Mini-Bar CS”, for they also belong to the CS series with the CS03 as their structure code). The product has inherited the advantages of the traditional conduction cooled diode lasers, including low smile, high reliability and easy coupling, but the brightness is significantly improved.
Low smile effect:?the Mini-Bar CS series have less emitters and shorter bars. The proprietary low-smile technology of Focuslight has assured the smile value of each Mini-Bar less than 0.5μm, which can greatly improve the fiber coupling efficiency of the bars.

High brightness:?the length of the bar is 1/3 of the traditional full bar, and the output power of each emitter can reach up to 7W-9W and therefore the brightness of Mini-Bar is significantly improved compared to the traditional full bar.

High reliability:?since bars with longer cavity length have been applied in the product, the heat dissipation capacity as well as the reliability of the Mini-Bar CS has been improved a lot.
Easy coupling:?it will be easier to conduct free space coupling or fiber array coupling with this new product.

The new product can be applied in the area of medical, pumping, industrial as well as scientific research.
